There was a high degree of positivity emanating from the Petface stand at Glee with news of great plans and great achievement since the brand was acquired by Leisuregrow.

So much has been achieved in the 83 days since the acquisition as the company’s Wayne Stevens explained.

Here are some of the achievements:

• 7,000 pallets moved from two locations into the Leisuregrow distribution centre within 10 weeks.
• 60 shipping containers paid for and delivered 182 SKUs from the port into the company’s distribution centre in eight weeks.
• 90% availability – 1,120 SKUs in stock from a LIVE range of 1,245 in our national distribution centre.
• Did not stop trading for a single day to endeavor to maximize supply continuity to its customers .
• £3.2m UK stock on hand for customers to order from Leisuregrow Products.
• £6.2m stock on order – open purchase orders placed with its global supplier base with containers on the water.
