Timber garden manufacturer EKJU have added new innovative products to their grow your own range, further strengthening their raised bed product category.
Known for manufacturing quality garden furniture, EKJU also have an impressive grow your own category with many shapes and sizes of Raised Beds and Garden Planters, which cater for differing garden sizes. Every product is constructed using the best quality FSC timber treated against wood rot and decay. Many items can also be treated in Dark Brown, Natural Green and Grey, providing neutral colours that suit many garden styles.
Tiered Planting with Plant Support
The new Three Level Vegetable Bed with Trellis offers a functional space efficient raised area that makes growing differing plants easier. On the first two levels there are opportunities to grow flowers, plants, fruit and veg, whereas on the top tier a trellis support enable the user to grow climbing plants. The vegetable bed is ideal for small to medium size gardens and even balconies.
Tiered Planting with Composting
The Vegetable Bed with Composter is a unique take on a tiered bed with the ability to do composting as well as planting. This is because the first two tiers can be used for planting with the top tier providing an area to make your own compost. Featuring a lid to help the composting process, it enables grass cuttings and organic waste to be decomposed. This provides a space efficient composter that is visually hidden and accentuated by the plants in the planting area.
Both new products are supplied with textile fabric for weed control prior to set up. The timber used is responsibly sourced and kiln dried prior to treatment, helping prevent warping or bowing. The timber is pressure treated in a brown preservative to protect the products from wood rot and decay.
