Wood making a comeback says UK garden furniture exhibitor
Wood is making a comeback in a garden furniture market long dominated by synthetic rattan weave, a Glee @ Spring Fair exhibitor claimed today.
Charles Taylor Trading, well known for their leisure product categories, started making wooden garden furniture four years ago and sales are now heading for the £20m mark. All their garden furniture products are designed and made in the UK and are available 52 weeks of the year at competitive prices.
On their hall 3 stand, the company are promoting their 'Baker's Dozen Event', in which buyers get 13 items for the price of 12. The display includes what they describe as the UK's best-selling wooden garden bench.
