Innovations in bird care from Peckish and Gardman

Peckish, the UK’s leading wild bird food brand, is expanding its best-selling offering at Glee 2025 with the launch of Canto, a premium range of contemporary wild bird feeders designed to bridge the gap between garden and home styling.

 

Inspired by leading interior design trends, the seven-piece Canto collection is finished in an elegant Pistachio green, a popular Pantone shade already dominating indoor décor, helping consumers seeking a cohesive and stylish outdoor space. With aesthetics continuing to influence purchasing behaviour, particularly among style-conscious consumers, and the Canto range presents a fresh opportunity for retailers to tap into the growing demand for products that are both functional and fashionable.

 

Made from robust, hard-wearing metal and shatterproof polycarbonate, the collection feeders are built to endure the UK’s unpredictable weather while remaining easy to fill and clean, essential features for today’s convenience-minded customer. The range includes options for seed blends, energy balls, and peanuts, with squirrel-proof and no-mess designs, that address common consumer pain points.

 

As well as Peckish introducing a new collection of feeders, Gardman, is proud to announce the launch of its new Supreme Range, a premium collection of bird seed blends now exclusively available to garden centre retail partners nationwide.

 

The experts in wild bird care have developed this new range to meet consumer demand for high quality, species-specific bird food. The Gardman Supreme Range meets this trend head-on, with three bespoke blends – Mealworm Blend, Robin Blend, and Finch Blend – two of which have been formulated to be wheat free, providing a higher quality, nutritious, targeted offering for wild birds. In addition, where possible, many of the seed ingredients in these blends are locally sourced from within a 30-mile radius of the factory in Yorkshire, England.

 

The new range increases Gardman’s depth of range, from core, to functional, and now specialist, with blends designed to attract the UK’s most beloved garden visitors, encouraging repeat purchase and customer loyalty:
