It’s a summer of celebrations for EKJU at Glee, where they will be celebrating their past success and looking forward to the 2023 outdoor living season.
In the last 30 years EKJU have achieved a renowned reputation for quality timber gardening products across Europe and have introduced hundreds of functional products that consumers love to use in their gardens.
Four founding fathers with one vision
Egons, Klauss, Juris & Uldis were the founders of EKJU in 1992, who had a vision to create garden furniture that is crafted with the care and attention needed to ensure the product lasts as long as it takes to regrow a new tree. Since 1992 the company have adopted this ethos throughout their range of products.
Based in Latvia, EKJU are now one of Europe’s biggest manufacturers and exporters of timber Garden Furniture and have been exporting products throughout Europe for over 25 years. Their extensive product range is manufactured using northern European live wood that is ideal for use on Garden Furniture due to its high density and durable qualities. Over 30 years, EKJU have kept a consistent vision and through constant refinement of their product assortment. Throughout this period EKJU’s genuine care for the environment has been central to their brand, resulting in carbon neutral status across their operations
Bringing people together and closer to nature
As part of the vision of the founding fathers, EKJU aim to bring people together and closer to nature via their outdoor living solutions. Their products are often enjoyed the most in the summer months bringing loved ones together at garden parties and picnics. EKJU’s products that have become central to summer celebrations include Picnic Tables, Garden Benches and Table Sets. EKJU also have many shapes and sizes of Raised Beds, which cater for differing garden sizes. There are also many styles of Planters which can house vibrant summer blooms, complementing the furniture range.
