Garden Furniture experts, EKJU are launching a new Heavy-Duty range, designed to offer a long-lasting outdoor living solution. EKJU products always use the most durable timber from northern European forests, proven to be ideal for garden furniture. The new Heavy Duty Bench range provides the most robust bench yet, with chunky pressure treated FSC wood specially selected to last the test of time. 

Outdoor dining in comfort

The Heavy-Duty range is designed to be used as an outdoor living dining solution, offering supreme comfort with robust seating with arm rests and a strong spacious table. The benches in the range can also be used independently, making the collection scalable to differing uses and situations. 

The range includes a Triple Garden Bench, Double Garden Bench and a Single Garden Seat. A chunky dining table with 88mm thick legs completes the range, providing an ideal setting for al-fresco entertaining, enabling loved ones to enjoy family time outdoors together.

The Triple Garden Bench features a traditional design for a three-seater garden bench that measures 2m wide. It is an ideal product to site in a relaxing area of a front or back garden and as an addition to a dining table. The Heavy-Duty Double Garden Bench is 139cm wide and the perfect bench to site in a favourite spot to enjoy the garden with friends. The Single Garden Bench has a traditional single garden chair design which is ideally used as a seat as part of the set at the table end or a standalone garden chair in a peaceful location.

Being experts in timber processing, EKJU are obsessed with sustainability and quality with a carbon neutral operation. The Heavy-Duty range is constructed using FSC pine and spruce that grow in the northern European forests. This live wood is high quality and stronger due to its slow growth.

Before pressure treatment, the Heavy-Duty components are dried in a time-controlled environment to ensure a finished product with the correct moisture levels. This process prevents warping or bowing providing the end user with a more robust longer lasting product. With high standards of quality control, the collection is available in a choice of natural green or brown pressure treatment, all processed at EKJU’s production site.
