Woodlodge kick off Marie Curie promotion with 20k donation
The vibrant display of daffodils on Woodlodge's Glee @ Spring Fair stand is designed to draw attention to their Marie Curie charity promotion, launched yesterday on World Cancer Day with a pledge to donate at least £20,000.
Woodlodge have agreed to donate 75p for each Marie Curie-tagged pot, which is offered in three designs. They have already made a donation of £20,000 to get the ball rolling.
Richard Newton, on the stand today, has been impressed with the number and quality of visitors to their Hall 3 exhibit. "We have been seeing new customers as well as existing ones," he told Glee Daily News.
