Boost is a world first for the plant feed category. Engineered to produce four times more blooms and grow the market through increased participation. This revolutionary new feed uses PlantSenseTM technology which is the combination of an exclusive nutrient package and water management technology, making application faster and more effective. Westland are backing Boost with a £1.5m investment into a marketing campaign with national TV at its heart.
The firm favourite of gardeners, Jacks Magic All Purpose Compost, is changing, moving to a 50:50 blend of peat and BIO3. This change not only makes it more sustainable, but independent trials at NIAB have proved it improves the performance, delivering great results for every seedling, plant container and basket. For 2022, the Westland growing media range leads the industry becoming 80% peat free by volume, led by the upgrade to Jacks Magic, and new peat-free blends of Rose, Tree & Shrub, and Container Compost. These changes reflect the latest work from 20 years of horticultural innovation and investment by Westland.
Choosing natural lawncare products that are safe for children, pets and wildlife is a priority for many. We’re strengthening our range of child and pet friendly lawncare, providing sustainable, natural, friendly choices that deliver outstanding results for every lawn. Central to this is the addition of Lawn Revive, the ultimate lawn thickener, and Lawn Meadow, a blend of wildflowers and grasses to attract bees, butterflies, and a variety of other wildlife.
