Meadow View Stone recognises the demand for more sustainability within our market sector. Fulfilling the need for new product development and innovation whilst not compromising our natural resources for future generations is a guiding principle for the company.
This year their exhibition stand at GLEE will be constructed from elements which are either recycled, reused or recyclable. The stand design utilises a high proportion of waste timber for the main constructive elements, with low voltage LED lighting throughout and the remaining design components either being redeployed or returned for future use/ sale.
Furthermore, the company also takes the following steps to ensure that all their merchandising and packaging is sustainable:
Point Of Sale
Meadow View Stone use a fully recyclable medium for all their Point-of-Sale support. This new medium is 100% recyclable and PVC Free. Its cell structure provides increased strength and rigidity, resulting in minimum breakage or damage. It is lightweight and extremely durable meaning fewer broken boards/fewer replacements are required. With a longer lifespan than conventional Correx, it makes it a much more sustainable alternative.
Stands
All timber utilised in the companies merchandising is sourced from an FSC - Forest Stewardship Council registered company and is fully tanalised to prolong its lifespan.
Bags
All polythene packaging, which includes bags, shrink wraps/covers and bulk bags, contain a minimum of 30% recycled content, saving approximately 112 tonnes of virgin plastic entering the waste stream in 2022. Their standard aggregate collection is fully recyclable at specialist recycling facilities and their new range of Potstars Outdoor Living, further improves on this by being able to be recycled at local supermarkets.
